Joker/Wild Card

In rummy, the wild card is defined as a randomly picked card from a closed deck at the beginning of the game. A card with a joker printed on it is called a joker card. Both these cards can be used as a set or sequence in a rummy game.

Unmatched Cards

Cards that are not used by any player to make a sequence or sets referred to as unmatched cards, or also known as unarranged cards.

Face Card

All the Kings, Queens, and Jacks of all suits i.e. club, spade, heart, and diamond in a deck of cards are known as the face card.

Buy-in

The money paid to participate in a rummy tournament is called buy-in.
